Boutiques you might have missed

Boutiques you might have missed

The boutiques are always a good place to find something for the ladies, says Kimberly K., owner of Rogue ('hand-picked items for the fashion forward").

The best part? Kimberly is a shopper. She notices the different, the fun, the "fashion forward". But shopping Secret Santa makes her head into shops she otherwise might not go, or scan the horizon for that piece she didn't know she was looking for.

“We visit the stores hoping we don’t run into the person whose name you drew!” said Kimberly K. “It’s a fun way to connect. You shop and you get to go into stores you’ve never gone into before."

Some local tips:

  • Housewares -  stylish items geared toward modern living in smaller spaces. If you love color, texture, and inspiration... go here!
  • Wooden Spoon - won't be the same since they lost Woody the mascot cat.  But this iconic store is a landmark of 40 years in Edmonds and is always  fun place to shop.
  • WhimSea Boutique - playful presentation and fanciful fashion make this a fun stop.
  • Bountiful Home & Nursery -  Old World Decor with an organic influence. OK - we're intrigued!
  • Zinc - eclectically curated mix of art, furniture and modern gifts. This place is always a fun surprise.
  • Arista Wines - we don't need to explain why this is a good choice. Wine tastings. There....we said it.

Yes, there's oh so much more. A bookstore, art galleries, distilleries and more.

Drinks and Appetizers - it's no secret!

  • We both got rings!

The Local Ladies meet up for drinks and the name exchange for their annual Secret Santa trip. Church Key Pub is casual, comfortable and relaxed. (Shouldn't all shopping trips be like this?)
